the location was superb, just a short walk from both the bus and train station. the room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a balcony that overlooked the main street. the owner, who also ran a shop downstairs, was incredibly friendly and had the biggest smile. the highlight was definitely the hot shower, perfect after a long day of exploring. Good value for money too!
No complaints whatsoever! .

The hosts were absolutely amazing and the location was insanely good! Just a quick 5 minute walk from the railway station and a jaw-dropping 10 minute stroll to the breathtaking Kandy Lake and all the mind-blowing sights. The place was spotless, super clean! And can we talk about the value for money? It was virtually a steal, so inexpensive! And oh my goodness, the bed had this mind-blowing mosquito net, so no pesky bugs bothering us at night. The room even had an electric kettle, so we could make ourselves a cuppa in the evening. Talk about bonus points! The owner and his family were super friendly, even though we didn't interact a lot, except during check-in and check-out. And did I mention that it was fairly close to the train station too? Super convenient if you ask me! In conclusion, it was a jaw-droppingly great place to stay, with a big balcony and a clean bathroom. We also loved that we could watch the mind-blowing Perahera parades from the terrace. The owner was an absolute gem, always willing to help. And the location? Perf! Close to the central train and bus stations and even the Ambuluwawa tower! Plus, there were some seriously good and cheap restaurants nearby. Oh, and if you need tropical fruits, just head to the bus stations, they're right there! One last thing, a shoutout to the owner for letting me transfer money via WISE, saved me loads compared to those sneaky bank fees. So, if you're looking for an unforgettable stay, highly recommend this spot!
